Providence Christian Academy was founded on the belief that all lessons should be taught using a biblical worldview. Using curriculum from Christian publishers, a fine arts department that encourages creative expression through God's perspective, and a faculty devoted to the Providence mission, Providence Christian Academy prides itself on educating each of its students to become a Champion for Christ!

Little Griffins Preschool

"Start children off the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it."

~ Proverbs 22:6, NIV ~

Providence Christian Academy believes that Developing Young Champions for Christ starts at the beginning stages of life. Through a faculty devoted to the care of nursery-aged children, Providence offers an Early Childhood Center that focuses on the Christ-centered education of two and three year olds. At Providence Christian Academy, all children are welcomed and encouraged to begin their walk with the Lord from a young age.

Our Curriculum

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

~ Matthew 6:33, NIV ~

Providence Christian Academy uses textbooks and curriculum published by Christian publishers. We believe that this allows our teachers the creativity to form lessons from a biblical worldview.

Fine Arts

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,"

~ Colossians 3:23, NIV ~

Creativity comes from the Creator! We recognize the fine arts as gifts from God to His people. All activities in our Fine Arts department encourages creativity through God's perspective. Our students present an annual full-length drama or musical production, to display the talents and gifts that God has given them.

Dual Enrollment

"Encouraging, comforting, and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into His kingdom and glory."

~ 1 Thessalonians 2:12, NIV ~

Students in 11th and 12 grade have an opportunity to earn college credit while enrolled in Providence Christian Academy's high school program by attending Cecil College. PCA will absorb the tuition cost of one college math course per year. However, PCA also offers other college courses at additional expense, with transportation included.
