Providence Christian Academy believes that Developing Young Champions for Christ starts at the beginning stages of life. Through a faculty devoted to the care of nursery-aged children, Providence offers an Early Childhood Center that focuses on the Christ-centered education of children starting at two years old. At Providence Christian Academy, all children are welcomed and encouraged to begin their walk with the Lord from a young age.
Age 2 - 3
During this important time of developing social, communication, and autonomy skills, your preschooler will be able to find joy in learning about the world around them, how much Jesus loves them, and how they can love their friends. Your child will learn name recognition and memorize Bible verses through word and finger play. They will also learn to recognize colors, numbers, and letters. Additionally, Providence Christian Academy students will explore basic science and math concepts as they play in planned learning centers throughout the day. Potty training will also be a critical part of each day.
Pre - K
Students in the K4 program at Providence Christian Academy will develop a firm understanding of letters, sound correspondence, and number concepts. Through a combination of play and hands-on exploration, students will develop their fine motor skills. The classroom is structured for one-on-one and small group instruction. At Providence Christian Academy, students will learn the fundamentals of Jesus' love for us and how we can show that love to others.
